NorthForge privacy policy

Last updated: 10 October 2026

NorthForge is a personal tool used only by its owner, on their own mail accounts. It has no other users.

What it accesses

With the owner's permission, NorthForge uses the Gmail API to:

NorthForge never sends email.

Where data is kept

Message details and sign-in tokens are stored only on a private server the owner controls. They are not available on the public internet.

Who it is shared with

To classify a message, NorthForge sends its subject, sender, date and short preview to OpenAI's API. When the owner asks for a reply draft, the message's full text is also sent. OpenAI processes this under its API terms, which do not use API data to train its models by default. Nothing is shared with anyone else, and nothing is sold or used for advertising.

Google API data

NorthForge's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Removing access

Access can be revoked at any time from Google Account → Third-party connections. Stored data can be deleted by deleting it from the owner's server.
